Dr Hasan is an ENT surgeon with broad exposure to most ENT sub-specialities. After completing his medical degree at UNSW, Zubair subsequently gained entry into 2 competitive surgical specialities under the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons – General Surgery and Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. Upon completing SET 2 in General Surgery at Monash Health in Victoria, he completed training in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery between Western Australia and Victoria. Having spent time across a number of units in these 2 states, Zubair has had the benefit of training with a diverse group of surgeons and patients in Australia.
Dr Hasan is also involved in academic pursuits to ensure he is up to date with current knowledge. He is first author on 3 book chapters and first or co-author on over 20 peer-reviewed journal articles. He has been involved in teaching and mentorship of medical students as well as being an examiner for final year medical students. He has 2 higher degrees in addition to his medical degree and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
Outside work he loves playing basketball, cycling and anything at the beach.
