Adult Speech Pathology

Hollie-Ann is a certified practicing Speech Pathologist from Newcastle, with 17 years’ experience in providing Speech Pathology care to adults with complex swallowing disorders, voice difficulties and upper airway disorders. She is passionate about student education and is a clinical educator in voice/laryngeal dysfunction and lectures in Dysphagia (swallowing disorders) at the University of Newcastle.

It is a combination of her clinical work over the past 17 years and passion for improving the quality of life for those with swallowing and communication difficulties that has led her to pursue further study with a Higher Degree Research (Doctor of Philosophy – Speech Pathology) through the University of Newcastle, exploring the use of myofunctional devices in oral care and dysphagia in an adult population. She looks forward to sharing the results of her research with you in the very near future.
