Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon Head and Neck Surgeon
Dr Tan-Gore completed Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Training in the Northern Territory, Queensland and New Zealand after completing her MBBS and BDSc at the University of Queensland. She is committed to providing comprehensive Oral and Maxillofacial Facial services to her patients which includes Head and Neck surgery, skin cancer surgery, salivary gland pathology, dentoalveolar surgery and TMJ pathology.
She completed a Fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse in Sydney and has a special interest in the reconstructive management of Head and Neck Cancer. She is trained in Microvascular Reconstruction Surgery and utilises her training to provide comprehensive care to her Head and Neck patients in the Konara Cancer Team. She is also particularly interested in the management of Facial Palsy symptoms, providing both surgery and non-surgical options for management of patient symptoms.
Dr Tan-Gore is a proud member of the Konara Cancer Care team. She firmly believes that patients and their families should be actively engaged as part of the team during their treatment. She provides comprehensive care to patients from their diagnosis and planning, to their surgical treatment and she is involved in the post-surgery rehabilitation of patients.
