Dr Harvey Kok

Dr. Harvey Kok is a Paediatric Respiratory and Sleep Physician with extensive training and experience in the care of children with respiratory and sleep disorders. He completed his advanced sleep medicine training at Sydney Children’s Hospital and his respiratory training at The John Hunter Children’s Hospital, equipping him with comprehensive expertise in both fields.

Dr. Kok has a particular interest in a wide range of paediatric conditions, including asthma, cystic fibrosis, chronic cough, interstitial lung diseases, and childhood sleep disorders. His expertise extends to the management of obstructive and central sleep apnoeas, snoring in children, narcolepsy, and parasomnias.

Having worked across several leading tertiary paediatric centres, Dr. Kok is dedicated to improving the health and quality of life of children with complex respiratory and sleep-related conditions. His passion for medical education has earned him multiple awards for his exceptional teaching and mentorship of medical students during his fellowship years.

Currently, Dr. Kok is pursuing a Master’s degree in Cystic Fibrosis through the University of Newcastle to further enhance his expertise and contribute to ongoing research in this field.
