Dr Sejad Ahmadzada - CRAIG MOONEY

Dr Sejad Ahmadzada is an Australian-trained adult and paediatric Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgeon. After finishing high school in Sydney, Sejad went on to study Bachelor of Oral Health through the University of Sydney graduating as a dental hygienist and dental therapist. He was awarded the Golden Scaler Award for technical excellence and he worked with both children and adults. He then returned to University to study Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) through the University of Notre Dame, graduating with First Class Honours in 2014. 

While working as a junior doctor, he also completed a Master of Surgery by research through the University of Sydney. Sejad was accepted to undergo specialist training in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery and worked across major tertiary hospitals across NSW including The John Hunter Hospital, Gosford Hospital, St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney, Children Hospital Westmead, Royal North Shore Hospital, Liverpool Hospital and Westmead Hospital. He was fortunate enough to work alongside experts in the field who continue to be his mentors. 

Sejad is actively involved in research, having published multiple papers in high impact peer reviewed journals. Outside of medicine, Sejad enjoys spending time with his young family, exercising and has an interest in longevity and healthspan.
